Learning Not to Drown

by Anna Shinoda

Although I'm not a big fiction reader, [my wife] wrote an amazing book called Learning Not to Drown, which is about a young girl whose brother is in and out of prison. It was inspired by my wife’s actual family growing up, but it is fiction. It’s not a memoir.
